I was trying to install GRACE in cent OS 6.0 but it was showing so much dependencies problem especially Motif problem , so I updated my OS and installed openmotif-devel. it seems like all are present in the system but when iam configuring grace its not taking.

Package libjpeg-devel-6b-46.el6.i686 already installed and latest version
Package openmotif-devel-2.3.3-4.el6.i686 already installed and latest version
Nothing to do


i dont know wheather i have to give path for those installed libraries or not (but i think the configure file can able to recognise those)

if this problem solves , i can be able to move fast in my work.
can any one please tell me where the mistake is?

1) Download grace ftp://ftp.pbone.net/mirror/www.pclin...s2007.i586.rpm
2) # yum localinstall --nogpgcheck grace-5.1.22-1pclos2007.i586.rpm

The command 'xmgrace' will open grace on CentOS 6.

Or : Menu : Applications > Education > Grace
