Problem by opening Synaptic Package Manager

Hi Profis, every time i tried to open the Package Manager it shows the following :

E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report. "

How to do it manually?

Im the newest of the newbies of Bodhi 5.

Thank you!

You would open a terminal window and type the following;

Code:

sudo dpkg --configure -a
Try that and report back.

Honestly don't know where to find the terminal window in here so i launched the quick launcher and typed the code then it shows that sudo dpkg --configure -a stopped running unexpectedly. as an expert i reboot the system and did it again, still not working. I did it wrong isn't it?

It's called Terminology from what I can see. Try finding an app called that and launch it, then type in the command I mentioned before.
