Hi, welcome to LQ!
Please help us in helping you; which distro are you running, and what does the nvidia installer log look like? Cheers, Tink |
It's always good idea to add the content of "/var/log/Xorg.0.log" when you are asking a question especially related to X window i.e nvidia or ati radeon drivers.
Did you make "NVIDIA------" binary file executable or installed using package manager?? |
What video card? And what version of the nvidia driver? It looks like the version you have installed may not support the card you have in your system.
