Problem after GC driver installation ?
 

On Suse 10, i tried to install ATI drivers on my machine.

I didnt know exactly what i was doing and after Sax2 stuff and Screen Test, my screen was fuzzy with lines all accross, couldnt select something cause i couldnt see and did a reboot.

Any help appreciated.

Is there a restore option in Linux ?
When init 3 or 5, how do you go back to Suse ?
I have a dualboot XP and Suse 10 and sometimes 3 on 5, Suse fail to start if selected.

am not a suse guru

when in text mode become root if needed
and start yum, you or yast (whateve it is called)
to change the choice of graphic card
select vesa driver
back to grophical GUI you can mess again with your video card

see as well /var/log/Xorg.0.log

if you are more advanturous /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Usually there is a rescue mode on the CD,
but you do not need it in your case

if you mean safemode,
well textmode is a kind of safemode

And if you have grub you can tell the kernel all sort of things
to boot safely
