problem accessing mounted hdd

I mounted a fat 32 partition using fstab file. IT does mount but is only accessible from the root login. When i'm booted into root via command prompt or by login screen it wont let me change the permisions. It's just this mounted partition i cant change the permissions of.

BTW have you tried searching this website for answers?

You can not change permissions on a mounted FAT32 filesystem.

To add read/write for all users add the option umask=000 to the /etc/fstab entry.
