Problem 1: swf slow
i've recompiled my kernel and installed my ati drivers, now all video is lightning fast... but it seems that with *.swf files the video is a bit sluggish. using suse 9.0 distro.
any ideas?
edit:
the picture seems to be ahead of the sound by roughly .8 seconds... annoying as hell..

in all honesty, i have never gotten the flash plugin for linux to play video and audio synchronized. its very possible its the flash plugin, which there is no replacement to

That's funny, mine works fine. Maybe it's the webbrowser/ I use firefox. It also works with konqueror.

i should update to firefox, but im too lazy
plus i tried to do firefox at school and couldnt get flash to work then

Welll, now that I think of it... Flash has a dependency... I think it's libstdc+ .
I rememeber, I couldn't get flash to work, I tried installing it from an rpm and it said i required that.
