prob with MPlayer, gcc compiler
when I try to install. I get this:
Code:
[brutal@localhost MPlayer-0.90]$ ./configure enable-gui anyone able to help a guy out with this? |
OK, you try to compile mplayer with a gcc (gnu c compiler) version, which is not supported.
You need to upgrade you C compiler. Which distro are you using? |
DUH! Just saw it! LOL
So, redhat 9 , right? well, then make it easy on yourself and go to: http://shrike.freshrpms.net/ and download the rpms. Why compile, when somebody else did already? ;) |
well actually he has NO gcc at all.. not even the unsupported one... install it from your distro cd's. it *IS* there.
|
True!
But...*speechless* does Linux run without GCC? ;) Anyways, yup, you need to get GCC if you wanna compile - or stick with rpms.... |
gotcha. what a dumb thing LOL. Im busy with some java stuff right now, I will look at this tonight when I get home.
