Prism54? mn-710 drivers help

A while ago I posted that I needed some drivers for my Microsoft mn-710 wireless USB adaptor. I couldn't find out what chipset the mn-710 used, and therefore no links were submitted to help me out.

Anyway I was wondering should I just go and try random drivers until it works? I read an old post about an mn-710 review and some sorta connection between it and the Prism54 driver. Is this the right driver? Will I screw anything up if it is the wrong one?

The chip is a mn-710 wireless-g adaptor (802.11g/Wi-Fi)
