Printing to Windows Printer

What is the easiest way to print to a Windows printer from a RHEL 3.0 host? Can I do this without Samba?

Depends. Win2k and XP can provide lpd or ipp-style printing services, I believe. Those can be directly accessed via CUPS. I print to a printserver at work, using ipp in CUPS.

How would I configure cups on the Linux host to communicate with the Windows server?
