"Printing to a program using CUPS".
I'm with A BIG problem - I'm looking for a for a tool in Linux which is able to print a file to a program which reads from stdin, similar to RedMon in Windows. First of all I looked for some tool already available, which can work as a generic printer in CUPS - without success. After I searched in internet and found a description how to install a shell script as a CUPS backend. I wrote a shell and move it to CUPS backend. I had no problems to install it with admin command - but when I sent data using lpr command return me a error "PID xxx stopped with status 22". Does anyone any tip about ?
Thanks in advance. |
Error 22 is EINVAL: Invalid argument. It seems that the data is not formatted correctly at a certain level.
