Printing Problem in Dosemu under Slackware
Hi I'm a basic user of Linux introduced work. We use an older version of Slackware with Dosemu as POS. Recently I've been experiencing problem installing POS printers. We use 3 computers each with it's own shared printer or two. We access those printers with a pre-compiled program. Usually when I setup the computer IP and cups then issued the command "lpstat -a" I would get

For some reason when I issue the command "lpstat -a" I get bar accepting requests since Fri 03 Dec 2021 03:31:09 PM PHT cas accepting requests since Fri 03 Dec 2021 03:31:09 PM PHT kit@192.168.50.2 accepting requests since Fri 03 Dec 2021 03:31:09 PM PHT This way I can't access the printer "kit" using the pre-compiled program provided. Can anyone tell me the problem with my Slackware setup so that "@192.168.50.2" doesn't show up? |
Can't solve it, but hit the Report button and ask for this thread to be moved to the Slackware forum.

Trying to get a handle on this. Is "kit" a network printer or USB-attached? Is the naming of it related to the machine it is directly attached to?
Please show us... Code:
