printing from a remote windows box

Hello all,

I'm trying to setup a debian box. If I browse "//localhost:631",
I get the printer configuration page. There is a test print button
on that page and if I click it, a test page with some text and graphic
is printed out from an Epson printer that is attached to a remote
Windows box as I expect.

I have e2ps and ghostview as well. If I do something like

% e2ps tmpfile.txt > tmp.ps
% ghostview tmp.ps

I can see the postscript file okay.

Now, if I do "lpr tmp.ps", something comes out of the Espon printer.
That is a raw postscript source with all the postscript commands
like "gstore" and all.

I know this Espon printer(CX5400) is not a postscript printer.
Somebody must interpret and render the postscript language before
passing it to the printer. That is not happening here I guess.
What am I missing?
