Printing fine via samba, but Windows still says permission denied. Do I care?

I was able to start samba with a default config. From Windows XP, I had no problem finding and adding the printer. Once added, Windows said "permission denied" next to the printer, so I added the Windows user to linux. Still said "permission denied", but I went ahead and tested the printer, and it worked. Is this just a simple bug fixed in a newer version than samba 3.0.2?

Same thing here. Maybe adding the windows user as a samba user will help, but I doubt it. As long as things print, I don't mind
