[SOLVED] Printing CD's with Epson Photo TX650 connected to Windows Box from Ubuntu 11.04

I have an Epson Photo TX650 connected to a Windows box on my LAN, I have installed drivers etc and can scan and print photos, documents etc with no problem.

However I have tried using the print dialogue to print an image on a CD directly and from within gimp with no success.

There is a utility on the Windows driver CD that lets you edit, create and print CD's from Windows but neither the CD or the Epson site has one for linux.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Sort of solved this one myself.

After more searching on-line I came accross this blog.

I followed the instructions and after a little adjustment I was able to make my own CD/DVD images or import .jpg images downloaded from the net and print them directly onto disks. I used Libre Office Draw but it should work in Open Office Apps as well.
