Printer/Scanner DCP=7060 unable to get scanner going
I have tried to get the scanner on my DCP-7060D Brother printer to work using what directions have been given by Brothers. Have others had this problem? Did you finally resolve it?

The first thing to usually do is look for a driver. If you're using Ubuntu, you can get a deb package here: http://support.brother.com/g/b/downl...d=dcp7060d_all

Thanks for the suggestion but Brother help has not been able to get my scanner going. The printer is working and all scanner drivers are in my downloads.

Hey there,
I need a clarification here. What do you mean by "all scanner drivers are in my downloads"? |

Thanks I will do that. What I meant was that all the drivers that were supposed to be needed for my printer were in my download file. such as dcp7060dlpr-2.1.0-1 and brscan-skey-0.2.4-1.amd64.deb .
The printer driver given by Brother was used by Mint with no problem. Again I will try you idea and see how it works. Glen |
