Smile printer-scanner and webcam drivers

Can someone please inform me where I can find the tar drivers or perhaps rpm drivers for Linux (Suse) for the HP F3?? (300 series) printer and scanner?
Are there any good drivers for a simple Philips Webcam, is it the gspcav kernel module perhaps?
I use Suse 10.1 KDE 3.5.7
Tks n rgds

Don't know about the printer. For the webcam the home page of the Philips driver is:

http://www.saillard.org/linux/pwc/

Site has some RPMs but they look old.

Maybe SuSE already package the driver. Do they have some sort of hardware wizard? Otherwise try 'lsmod | grep pwc'. If nothing shown try 'modprobe pwc' as root.

Also unplug and re-plug the camera and check the last few lines of the 'dmesg' command to see if the camera is being picked up.

If no luck, run 'lsusb' and look for your camera in the output. This will also give you the product ID, which is useful for chasing up further information.

If you have a positive ID on the camera and nothing else has worked, you could then think about downloading the driver source and compiling it.

printer and webcam working - scanner NOT working

Hi, after some updates my HP F380 printer is working, under hplip F300 series.
For the Philips webcam, I had to install pwc and after installing this is working fine as well.
But I told that the HP F380 is a all-in-one, so including a scanner (possibility), now Sane does not recognize it as e.g. an F300 series USB scanner, there are no exact drivers for Suse Linux 10.1, at least I cannot find them.
However, the scanner is configured well in the hardware as a so called F300 series USB scanner.

So if anyone can help me with something for the F300 series scanner (HP F380) I'll be grateful.
Thanks.
