Unhappy Printer problem with Cups

Heho,

I have a HP670C connected to the first (& only) parallel port on my Toshiba laptop, and have installed Cups (libcusps2, cupsys-client, cupsys-pstoraster, and cupsomatic-ppd) from the Debian Woody archive. Everything seems to be there, and CUPSD starts at boot time, however on querying

lpinfo -m

- I get an error message saying "Unable to connect to server: Network is unreachable".

Any ideas ?

Michael

Not being daft, but you did set it up as a local printer, didn't you?
