Printer problem
 

hi, i dont know why, but my printer has recently stopped working :(. when i try to print i get this error:

Status Information: sending job 'root@localhost+305' to LexmarkZ42@localhost connecting to 'localhost', attempt 1 cannot open connection to localhost - No such file or directory Make sure the remote host supports the LPD protocol

it was working fine the other day and i cant think what i changed to cause it not to function properly. im not sure what to do, but i think it has something to do with my internet connection because i recently set that up.

any help would be greatly appreciated,

im not sure what other info would be needed, so please ask if i havent posted enough,

Is the lpd daemon running?

yes it is.

no worries its ok now. i reinstalled my printer and it is fine now. spose i shoulda done that to start with, lol.
