Printer install
I have gone to Fedora Workstation and want to connect my HP Laserjet P1005. Have tried known commands but not having any luck.Any help please??

You need hplip (which may already be installed in Fedora) to be able to print with HP printers.

You dont need hplip to print to most HP printers. Most of the time, a Generic PCL or Postscript driver will work fine. If you want a specific driver that has more features particular to your printer you may want to install hplip, but for basic printing try generics first and if they dont work, then try the drivers that come with hplip.

You just connect the printer and configure it in CUPS.
