printer help
hey there, not being able to print is the one thing holding me back from using linux all the time, i got ubuntu and wanted to setup my printer for it, so i tried the okidata site, found no help and then emailed them and got this response

You can check here to see if you particular printer is listed as supported. If it is listed there, I bet you can use your printer with cups (common unix printing system) already included in your distro. -Tux, |
