Printer failure


Please I am running fedora 9 sulphur and I have the following error message anytime that I want to print out documents :
"/usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip failed"
when I run and enable the debugger then I have the following:

Ok so how is your printer plugged in or connected to the workstation? if by IP are you using wireless? If you are using wireless then make sure that you are connected to your AP and not some one elses.

I connected using usb ports to my computer and I just recently upgraded from fedora 8 to fedora 9; and before then printing is working fine but scanner and fax not. Please help.
