Printer driver installation

Can I get the step by step procedure for installing Canon network printer driver for Linux Oracle Enterprise Ver 5.2 64 bit.I do not have the right driver .kindly suggest.

Hello pavangnr, welcome to LQ,

printing in Linux is done with cups (Common Unix Printing System). The webinterface for cups is available in the browser at the adress
Open the webinterface. Then configure the printer, you will simply have to tell cups about the ip-adress of the printer.

Don't forget to select the users who are permitted to print! also root can only print if he is in the list of this users. All this can be done in the browser.
