Print email from getmail to cups printer
Hi.
I have a mail-account, which is checked every 10. Minute for new mails (via getmail), printed(via cups/lpr) and the file is deleted if successful. My problem is that I don’t want to print the text\html, but what it looks like when rendered. What is the best way of doing this ? html2ps or ? Is it also possible to print the attachments( PDF) inside the mail, this way ? Scorp-D |
You should be able to open the html in a browser like Firefox and print it from there.

Its Synology's DSM 3.0
So I’m trying to run it all automatically and without GUI etc. But what about Lynx ? does it offer quite-mode printing ? And PDF ? |
Actually, to simplify it…
I only need a way of extracting the text/html and attachments, and placing them in the appropriate files(.txt for the message and the specified extension for the attachments). The message isn’t that important, its primarily the PDF attachments that needs to be printed. The printer can print text, images(jpg/bmp etc.) and PDF via FTP, so it’s only a matter of dumping the files onto the FTP. |
