Because
DISPLAY=localhost:0.0
and
DISPLAY=:0.0
are commonly equivalent.

Unhappy Missing RPM files ???

Hello,

I get the impression that I am missing some library files.

[oracle@Linux2005 oracle]$ rpm -q gcc cpp compat-libstdc++ glibc-devel glibc-headers glibc-kernheaders
gcc-3.2.3-20
cpp-3.2.3-20
package compat-libstdc++ is not installed
glibc-devel-2.3.2-95.3
glibc-headers-2.3.2-95.3
glibc-kernheaders-2.4-8.34
[oracle@Linux2005 oracle]$

Where can I get the missing package and get the runInstaller under way ?
Are those missing RPM available on the Red Hat installation CD's ?

If so, How can I install them on the Linux Server to get my Oracle installation under way ?

PT
