pppd help please


im using gnome mandriva and the only dialer it has is pppd. i dont have any other connection besides dial up to madriva (but had gusty online if i need a COUPLE packages). please help me configure pppd to dial out. i have never use pppd before so any commands and tips would be great.

Try installing chestnut dialer which uses pppd and I have not known it to have any dependency hassles. It is a very nice dialup app.
