PPP and modems

I need to set a modem dialup on a rh9 box, com 1. how do i do this. I know i must use PPP but where do i find this PPP file, and how do i set it UP. I know not much about this.

Try using kppp. It makes setting up a dialup connecton easy. I believe it's installed on the default rh9 setup, but if not I'm sure you can get the rpm for it.
