potential virus?

Hey, i was searching the web, and i kinda went across this suspicious website, it opened up a new firefox window and it wanted to open something under wine (it was an .exe)

Should i be worried about it?

i didn't accept the transfer, but even if it somehow downloaded to my harddrive, should i worry?

i'm just a little paranoid

as far as i know .exe is a M$ thing only. you might have some issues with wine or wineX, but as far as linux is concerned id not be worried.

If you didn't allow it it won't install. If you're still worried you can run a virusscan. I think f-prot is a good one.

If you communicate with windows PCs it might be a problem so then you'd better scan to be sure it's not a virus.
