PostgreSQL-8.1, Kubuntu 6.06 alternate... HELP NEEDED FOR LINUX NEWBIE
 
I tried to install postgreSQL-8.1 (apt-get install postgreSQL-8.1), in the middle of the installation my power was down. Then when i got my power supply back to normal i boot on my pc and found out that the postgresql-8.1 is not fully installed in my pc.

Right after that i trying to remove, purge-remove it but its still there and got the error message:

root@ubuntu:home/aaa# apt-get remove postgresql-8.1

Maybe you should try to install again...
apt-get install --reinstall repostgresql-8.1

lol very easy install the whole thing again.
