postfix / mysql errors

hello-

I am setting up a new server with Mandrake 9.2:

MySQL 4.0.15
Postfix 2.0.13-3

I'm using postfix with mysql for mailbox account validation.
I've installed and rebuilt Postfix with mysql support enabled.

But the mail error log is giving me:

postfix/trivial-rewrite[13693]: fatal: mysql:/etc/postfix
/mysql_virtual_mailbox_maps.cf: table lookup problem

I've triple-checked my mysql_virtual_mailbox_maps.cf file for any problems with mysql user/password, or db, table, column issues.

Anyone have any suggestions?? (thanks in advance!)

I HAVE IT!

ALL-

In the master.cf file ... I changed smtp & rewrite to n under chroot ...

Now it works!

... I am wondering though ... are there any security issues with doing this?
