postfix & pop3

could someone please help me i have a mail server setup, but i am unable to pop3 into it, could someone point me to some pop3 docs or tell me why i can telnet into my pop3 but a outlook cannot pop into it.

Postfix is a SMTP server (basically it sends and receives mail), not a POP3 server. You'll need to find a POP3 server and set it up on your machine.
