Porting openframework project from windows to linux
 
I am in a project that involves writing c code in msvc using openframework library and i want to port it to linux..can i just copy and paste the code in eclipse or codeblocks and would it work like a charm?i read sumthng about windowAPI i dnt knw wat that is...my code involves accesing webcam and procesing image using ofxopencv and serial comunication to arduino...is it dificult?i hav not written the code yet so u culd tel me how to write so that it wil b easy to port....i am complete newbie to linux and i cant get codeblock.deb to be working as i hav very litle time to complete project i am trying to write in win then port to linux...

Code is code, but it is smart to develop on GNU/Linux, with lots of dev tools available:)
