POP3 not delivering mails . . . .
 

This is the maillog that I get when outlook connects to the server. I am using postfix as the mail server.


Feb 27 00:48:10 xxxxx ipop3d[16818]: pop3 service init from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Feb 27 00:48:10 xxxxx ipop3d[16818]: Unexpected client disconnect, while reading line user=??? host=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.yyyyyyyyyyyy.zzzz.aaa.bb [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]

Even if I give the correct username and password, it keep on giving this error.

Please help on this . . . .

Some times one or two mails will be malformed, check the mailbox of that user in /var/spool/mail/username and delete the top most message.

This error persists for all users. I dont understand why it is not identifying the username . . . . .

Can anyone help me as the issue is turning to be critical :(

Now I found one more problem : My aliases are not working at all. How can I troubleshoot this. How will I know if postfix is using any allias and that it is using the same file I have specified.
