Pop Up = Evolution domain "Gmail.com" is not registered

Attempting to open an employee payroll portal. Opened once before with no problem but today it gives me the message 'Evolution domain "Gmail.com" is not registered?? Has anyone else had this experience and if so, how do I fix it?? Thanks.

This is a long shot, but what is the output of a "whois" and a "dig" on your employer's domain name. Please be sure to surround the output with "code" tags, when become available when you click "Go Advanced" at the bottom of the compose post window.

I'm making the suggestion because a web search turned up this.
