pop password problem with evolution

Hi all
This, i'm sure is a stupid question, but where do i find or enter a POP password for Evolution. I thought i had it all set up, but when i try to send a letter i keep getting an error message saying "unable to connect to POP server- enter POP password. i've gone through the edit set-up a dozen times and cant find anywhere to enter or retrieve a password. My Yahoo pass word does not work. Any help will be welcome, thanks.

On all of my systems, pop is for incoming mail, smtp for outgoing. And in my Fedora, evolution will not send out mail even if using the right server. Delete that account and re-create it, switch the servers.
