Point to current kernel source directory

Hi,

I'm running Knoppix installed onto my harddisk using the install script.

I am trying to get my Logitech iFeel mouse to work and have found:

http://tactile.sourceforge.net/

While trying to install the driver, the README file says:

"Edit the Makefile to point to your current kernel source directory"

Where is my source directory? More importantly, how do i edit the Makefile to point to it?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
tj

Currently the Makefile looks like this:
******************************************************************
all:
@echo "use 'make beos' or 'make linux'"

beos: support/usbkit/usb/USBKit.a
gcc -o ifeel ifeel-beos.cpp -Isupport/usbkit/usb support/usbkit/usb/USBKit.a -lbe

# BeOS specific support
support/usbkit/usb/USBKit.a: support/usbkit/usb/Makefile
cd support/usbkit/usb; make; cd ../../..

support/usbkit/usb/Makefile: support/usbkit_99-03-23.tgz
cd support; tar -xzvf usbkit_99-03-23.tgz; cd ..

clean:
rm -f *.o ifeel; rm -rf support/usbkit

# dead code
#mouse: mouse.o
# $(CC) -o mouse mouse.o $(LIBS)

#CFLAGS = -O2 -Iusbkit/usb -Lusbkit/usb
#LIBS = USBKit.a -lbe
#CC = gcc

#%.o: %.cpp
# $(CC) $(CFLAGS) -c $<
**********************************************************************

By default, the kernel source is in /usr/src/linux, but a lot of distro's don't install it. You'll need to install your distro's kernel-source package.
