PNY Attache 2.0 USB & SuSE 9.1

I am having problems with the atache. I want to take pictures from the harddrive and put on the attache. Oh yeah it is a labtop Fujitsu. I think it is SuSE 9.1. It is not my PC, but trying to help and have no clue how to work this OS. I know I get an Icon thinking the Attache is working but then disappears and then I unplug it and it comes and I try to upload the photos and then I get an error message. I have read other people having similar problems, but have no clue about what they are talking about when fixing the problem. So help would be great especially for someone who is SuSE incompetent.

Thanks
