Plz Help to configure Printronix P7000 Line Printer on Linux
Dear All Users,
I am using Fedora-8 and Fedora-10 on users desktop. There is a line printer of Printonix P-7000 in the network for mass printing. It is attached to the linux system on Parallel Port (LPT1). It was configured on Windows XP earlier. There is no Linux drivers available.
I have tried almost every drivers to match with this printer. But none of the drivers seems to be working...
Is there anyway to get this printer working on Linux or is their any possible way to load windows drivers on linux system ?
I can not use other printer model as this one is configured in SAP and many remote locations and SAP reports are configured with this printer settings....
Yeah, you are correct... Epson's drivers match to the printer...
Now the problem is, it is printing the text perfectly. but there is a problem in printing graphics..
Let me clear it. There is a SAP Credit Note, which contains signatures of the sanctioning authority. Printer can print the text perfectly, but can not print signatures which is in .JPG format...
Now I am fighting with this issue... Lets see if there is any way to do it...
