Question Plz Help... [Dual Boot Prob]

OS's:
- Red Hat WS3 Update 6 x86
- Windows XP

Problems:
- Lost dual boot ability
- No Floppy, USB or CD-ROM available.
- No Internet Access.
- Can't install any additional hardware for warranty reasons.

Procedure:
Installed first WinXP, then RH then WinXP again... used the normal Grub dual boot that installs itself with RH....

Question:
how do i restore dual booting from WinXP?

Plz help me.... ... BTW i tried to find similar threads first to no avail... sorry for my poor English...

WinXP install its own boot manager and assumes that it is the only OS in the system! You should have first installed WinXP and then Linux.
If you have the CDs for RH you can boot from the CD and do a repair or install additional components. This will install grub again in the system. I hope this works!

How did you install the OSes in the first place if you don't have any floppy, cd-rom and internet access available? Sorry I'm not able to understand here.

Tux,

Is it an enterprise PC?...meaning one in your office. If that's the case then you definitely don't want to touch it. You can talk to IT person or the person in charge of systems to see if they have a spare cdrom or floppy drives.
