jeremy, my intention was not to redirect trafic to a different forum. I just thought, it would be easier to troubleshoot the issue and follow up on it on the official nagios furum, since this is NOT a general linux question, but rather specific one (about nagios plugins).
Besides, acid_kewpie's post: "I'd urge you not to use Nagios but that's too late!", gave me the impression that you guys, don't even want to deal with this issue here. I hope I was wrong about this.

If you read the rest of the thread you'll see i DID deal with the issue, whereas you provided no active help at all, and my *personal* dislike of Nagios doesn't affect my knowledge of it, nor my ability to support it effectively.
