i try linux comand (to recovery files)
this syntax work for me
(source web: https://bitbook.io/search-grep-entir...ve-for-string/)
sudo strings /dev/sdd1 -n 11 | grep -C100 "string" > report.txt
this not work
(https://sudaraka.org/note-to-self/re...files-on-linux)
sudo grep -a -B 25 -A 100 'some string in the file' /dev/sda1 > results.txt
terminal type: some string in file command not found
looks like bad syntax ?
im run it in ubuntu
is command write for diferent compiler ?

Did you used single quotes ' or backticks ` to wrap the string?

With grep you must escape spaces

it's just wrong.

and i, too, had a hard time understanding what you're writing about.
use code tags for code, and show us working examples, with the output they produced.
