Hi, iv'e re-installed linux,

and finally got plib installed.

thanx to every1 who's replyed to my posts over the last 2 days

i have one question though.

i have installed plib (portable game library)
but not under the latest nvidia drivers.

(couldnt be bothered to upgrade, only to have to reinstall if i failed again and messed up the system)

anway, when i come to installing the latest nvidia drivers,

will all my stuff be okay ?

will i need to re-compile plib, and any opengl games installed ?

im hoping i will not have to, since tux racer was okay, but in linux, ive learned not to assume anything. lol.

I dont think you will have to re-install your games or plib...so did u find out what the problem was when you were trying to install plib b4?

missing header files
dodgey glut-delev
dodgy x-devel

i uninstaled all my glut glut-devel and x-devel and updated them from the internet, then searched the hard disk for gl header files and moved them around a bit .

and the compile took AGES, couldnt bare watching it just incase an error poped up, had to go make a coffee lol.

i hate it when u fix a problem to find 3 more.
