Assuming that you don't mean the Brazilian river or the famous Indian Film Actress, or the corporate ERP package (actually called "Corporate Munim" and I see no evidence of it being Linux/BSD/Unix compatible), what it probably is, is a mistake. Or actually two, as you forget the question mark; I'll take that back if you actually intended to assign a value of 'munim' to the variable 'What', but then I'll also know nothing about the point of this post.

I suppose it would be impossible to find this kind of thing out by looking at kernel trap or by reading the release notes for whatever distribution you are interested in, wouldn't it? At least one of those should have been impossible to completely ignore in the course of your studies.
The trouble is, you don't really mean anything of the kind. You really want to know something about what is new in some distribution, and part of that is the Linux kernel, but it is a small, but vital, part. If, for example, part of the answer was 'improved BTRFS support' (at this stage, it usually is), what would be the point of telling you that - if you have no intention of using BTRFS?
- if some of the userspace stuff, which, ab defintio, is not in the kernel, has more impact on you, as is likely?

Change of attitude and taking your studies seriously would be helpful; failing that, burger flipping practice would work, provided that you are able to take burger flipping seriously in a way that you haven't been able to with Linux. Your choice.
