Please... need HELP with TAILS
Hello,
at first: I am german.. i hope to describe my problem i english accurately.
I have installed Tails 2.12 as described on TAILS.boum website.
Itīs installed on a USB-Stick (2 USB Method) and working fine on my old PC
(Intel i3, Win7 64-bit, normal old BIOS). So the first test was successful!
Next i wanted to try the USB-Stick on my main-PC (Intel i7 6700K, Win10 Pro 64-bit, UEFI-BIOS)
Also i disabled FastBoot in UEFI!
But when i boot from Tails-USB i get the normal choise (Tails/ Tails Troubleshoot), then thereīs an Error-Messege, then there are pretty slow Frame-changes like TV-flickering (green/violet snow??), then thereīs the Greeter.
At the Greeter the Mouse-Cursor is fixed at the upper-left corner of the screen and doesnīt move anymore. I can still use the mouse but i canīt see where iīm clicking.
So in that shape TAILS is unuseable at my main-PC.
So... what is wrong?
Please... I am totally out of any idea
Kind regards,
PS: The Error-Messege is: "ACPI Error: [\_SB_PCI0.XHC_.RHUB.HS11]" and "ACPI Exception: AE_NOT_FOUND"
I will try to upload a picture of the full text.
And: I am sorry to ask as a new member... but i just registered of course of my problem and the fact that i dont have any clue about linux. I know thatīs not the right way to enter a community... and I am sorry about that. I am just out of any other ideas

Try adding "linux acpi=off" to the boot command line.

Are you using a KVM switch? You can also specify monitor resolutions on the boot kernel line.
