If you want help you need to be more helpful yourself ...what do you mean windows printer? Is it connected to a windows machine? Or is this a brand name? Your question leaves one curious.

do anyone know?

How did you configure the printer?
Did you configure it using CPUS?

If used CUPS then do this:

Code:

chkconfig cups on
chkconfig keeps the cups service ON even after system restart

Code:

chkconfig --list cups
Above command list the runlevel at which the service is on.

Have you checked Service Settings & startup aplications?

tailinlinux 05-10-2011 01:59 AM

I already solved the problem sir.
Re-installation of Mandriva 2010.0 and re-installation of hplip
and follow the setup needed by the hplip to be able to install.

Thanks for help and more powers to LQ....
