Angry Please HELP on Interchange 4.8/Redhat 7.1

I don't have Redhat 9 but I installed Redhat 7.1

I tried installing Interchange 4.8, but I figured out that I don't have the required Perl Modules.
So, I tried installing perl-kitchensink-5.8.0-rh9.tar.gz tries to install but I keep on getting a request/advise to install Bundle::libnet

I tried that...& am asked to install NET:FTP (or smthing..I forgot)

I was then advised to install ""
Which I did...& landed up in another trouble:
Now I keep on getting the error:
"/usr/bin/perl: /lib/i686/ version `GLIBC_2.3' not found (required by /usr/bin/perl)"

Is there any way I can get Interchange 4.8 (or above) running on RedHat 7.1?
If yes...please guide me & show me how.

Any help will be highly appreciated.
