I'm running Mandriva 2007. I use KDE. I was looking at the different widget styles and themes in the KDE Control Center. I wanted to see what diferent ones looked like. I switched to one called .Net and the titlebar and borders on all my windows disappeared. I clicked the Default button which reset it back to la Ora but my titlebar didn't come back. I rebooted to a commad shell and created a new user. I logged into that user and everything looks fine so I think I just messed up my config for that user. I'd really like to get it fixed but I don't know how. Could someone point me in the right direction?
I've been playing with my messed up account. It seems like there are other things that aren't working right too. I can't seem to type in any box. I only have one desktop and when I try to change it to four in the multiple desktop config page it accepts my setting but doesn't change it. I really messed myself up good.
Everything reset and everything works great. If I understand correctly it worked because I renamed the config files and it used the built-in defaults. I guess I should have thought of that. Does this mean that I can backup these files by using cp?
