Download the kaffine rpm, or use it from the installation disk and install it using the following command
rpm -ivh --aid kaffine......rpm --force

Sir

Thanks for the reply. But the kaffine i think is not compatible with my Linux, or its only for Debian.

Where can i download Kaffine for RHEL 4. I cannot find it with the help of google.

thanking you and regards

Go to http://rpm.pbone.net, click "Advanced search", uncheck all distros besides RHEL 4 and then do a search for Kaffeine. You get several links.

You can use your distro package manager to install/upgrade software. It should take care of dependancies.

Thank you sir as i found Kaffine for Red Hat EL4 from RPM PBONE.net.

Sir, will it support media files in the extension .DAT, as most of the VCD's comes with a .Dat extention.

Expecting Your reply

I think it can. It appears to be based on Xine, which can play VCDs.

You must remember to install codec's, or els it wont run any files
