Please Help!!!!

I have installed Synaptics via APT..and at first it was worked..I pressed some button (not for sure of which one) and now it gives me this message:

E: Malformed line 45 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list (URI parse)
E: The list of sources could not be read.
Please help me resolve this problem..

So were you editing the file?
sounds like a problem here:
/etc/apt/sources.list on line 45...

Dunno what to tell you it might help to have a little more detail...
