PlayOnLinux: issue with installation

How are you co-members?!
New to Linux.
Using Fedora Desktop 17 on a Thinkpad laptop.
Trying to install PlayOnLinux, so that I can install MS Office 2007 Pro.
Have downloaded installation file: http://www.playonlinux.com/en/download.html
Has downloaded latest version; when running file for installation, latter stalls and installation does not complete.
Have tried to install an earlier version, and same thing happens.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Kijandi

If only for office productivity there is no need to run M$Office. You can install Open Office native in Gnu/Linux system (in your Fedora) or Libre Office: these run faster over your system.

That's the most practical suggestion I can make, rather than losing so much resources slowing down the system only for office productivity suites that are well available in the linux community.

Hope the helps. Good luck.

Re: PlayOnLinux - MS Office

Malek, thanks for reaching!
Thanks also for the valuable advice.
I've installed Wine, instead of PlayOnLinux, and was able to install MS Office Pro 2007, and run it successfully.
The main reason I installed it, was to be able to edit, save my current resume and cover letter in Ms Word format, while running Linux Fedora on my laptop, and send it to recruiters, without having to restart my laptop, and boot in Win 7 for only that purpose.
I've used Open Office before; it's a powerful application, but I've noticed that sometimes some formating issues occur when working back and forth from Ms Office to Open Office.
I'm looking forward to working more and more with Linux!
Have a great day!
Kijandi.
