hi.
I am not able to play any of my mp3s in any of the media players in Ubuntu 6.06lts.It plays ogg files tho. How am i to listen to my mp3s. Id also like some real media player for linux if one is available.

For legal reasons, free linux distro's don't come with all neccessary codes pre installed. However, you can install them yourself. Go to http://www.getautomatix.com/
install it and read about it a little bit. The tool will help you get most of the codecs installed no problem.
